IT ALL STARTED WITH
A CATFISH AND A DOG
Blue Catty’s started with two things: a legendary marina dog named BlueBell and a stubborn catfish no one could ever catch. Locals say he’s still out there under Slip 7, taunting anglers and stealing bait with a smug little flick of his tail. That blend of playful energy and riverfront charm is baked into everything we do.
We opened in 2025 with a simple mission: serve great food, strong drinks, and make this little corner of the Ohio River feel like your go-to getaway. We wanted a spot where boaters, dog lovers, families, and locals could all kick back together. No dress code. No rush. Just cold cocktails, hot plates, and river breeze.
Everything on our menu is made fresh in-house every day. The catfish is hand-breaded, the cocktails are shaken to order, and the brunch will ruin you for all others. We’re proudly dog friendly, proudly boat accessible, and proudly obsessed with keeping the vibes just right.
Blue Catty’s isn’t just a bar and grille. It’s a story, a community, and a state of mind. So grab your crew, pull up a chair, and stay awhile. There’s always something happening at the marina and always a reason to wet your whiskers.
